SLA awards tenders for Dempsey Road properties to Power Moves and Florte Design
Power Moves is a pilates studio that at the moment operates at Novena Specialist Centre. The studio submitted a proposal of $41,200 per month (pm), defeating four other bids for the site.
SLA awarded a different tender for 13 Dempsey Roadway (# 01-01, # 01-02 and # 01-06) to Florte Design. The company runs native floral shop The Florté. It defeated seven various other tender proposals for the property, which is accepted for creative way of living uses.
Power Moves won the tender for 13 Dempsey Road (# 01-05 and # 01-07) and 13A Dempsey Street. The real estates, which are authorized for wellness and fitness use, take up a land area of 9,657 sq ft and have a consolidated approximated gross floor area (GFA) of 8,783 sq ft.
The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) have allocated 2 separate tenders for real properties throughout Dempsey Road. Both of these tenders come with a starting five-year rent, with the possibility to extend for an additional title of four years.
Furthermore, Florte Design means to deal with local artists, performers and neighboring businesses to deliver cross-promotional functions and foster local interaction.

Power Moves’ quote consists of centers like a pilates studio, aesthetic centre, a café, and rooms giving dietary coaching and other wellness-based services. The studio is going to also provide neighborhood campaigns like outdoor exercise and relaxation classes, walkathons and themed pop-up activities to attract crowds.

Florte Design intends to open a market for retail floral and life-style merchandise on the area with an all-day cafeteria services floral-infused drinks. The real estate will in addition feature a health and fitness studio and a versatile event space-cum-photo salon with floral arrangements.
The tenders for both locations closed on May 29 and were checked based upon cost and premium facets.
She adds that the better weightage of the quality component in current tenders at Dempsey is a testament to SLA’s efforts in finding concepts that are going to inject excitement to the community.
Florte Design’s proposal of $17,904 pm presented the third best price proposal obtained for the property. Nevertheless, it had the greatest mixed score based on both fee (which brought a 40% weightage) and quality (60% weightage).

The units at 13 Dempsey Road utilize an estimated land area of 5,423 sq ft and have a GFA of about 4,905 sq ft.
